ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES - SEYCHELLES
The Environmental Health services is an essential part of the Division of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health, with its principal aim of 'Protecting public health and enhancing the quality of life of the Seychellois population'.
The mission of Environmental Health is 'To promote the health of all Seychellois citizen through the mobilization of all national resources and with the collaborative effort of the community living in harmony in a healthy environment'.
Environmental Health officers are stationed in all the 16 health centers of the country as well as in the centralized specialist units together with the management team which are based at the Ministry of Health headquarters.
