Department of surgery is divided into General surgery , Orthopaedics , ENT, Opthalmology. Inpatients are cared for in the Female surgical, Male surgical and Pediatric wards.

General surgery offers Following services   

• General surgery and Gastroenterology

• Urology

• Neurosurgery

• Vascular surgery

• Cardiothoracic surgery

• Endoscopic surgery

Endospic offers the following services

•    Upper G1 endoscopy

•     Colonoscopy

•     Urethro cystoscopy

•     Bronchoscopy

•   Laparoscopic procedures

Operating Theatre Services

• Monday to Friday -Elective surgical procedures in above mentioned specialties.

• 24hrs emergency procedures- Acute surgical/ Trauma

Admission into surgical wards

•  Elective cases through outpatient clinics

• Emergency cases through primary health care centers, casualty and   emergency  department and private medical practioners.

Referral to specialist outpatient clinics through

• Primary health care centers

• Private medical practioners

• 24HRS emergency surgical service provided by qualified surgeons on call available for contact at Victoria Hospital-**

ENT Clinics  

• Outpatient clinics- 3 per week

• 2 operative days for elective cases

• 24hrs emergency service

Orthopaedics  Clinics

• 4 Out patient clinics

• 24hrs traumalogy service

• 2 operative days for elective cases
